- The TV EXPLORER has been designed for the installation, maintenance
and surveillance of terrestrial, satellite and cable TV systems.
- The TV EXPLORER provides you automatically with all the information
about the channels available in the network and their quality. It does not
require any preliminary information about the signals to be measured, so that it
can detect the type of signal, the standard, the modulation type, symbol rates,
etc.

has an impressive new range of functions developed to make easy measurements and
detection of impairments in both digital and analogue systems.
The
EXPLORER's compact and rugged construction makes it ideal for field use.
A 5" colour LCD shows all the measurements and the picture of analogue and
digital channels.
It includes a high resolution spectrum analyser
function with a new intelligent way to directly control the display of signals
on the screen.
It is ideal to be used in this transition period from
analogue to digital, as it covers a wide range of standards. PRODIG-5 TV
Explorer covers PAL / SECAM / NTSC in analogue and COFDM / QPSK /
QAM in digital.
From now on, your
analyser will be a much more intelligent and easy to use tool!

The PROLINK-2
Premium combines in one single instrument the functions most
required by the installers with an optimum price/features ratio. It is ideal for
satellite TV applications, including also functions to cover the terrestrial
television range. The instrument gives the bit error rate (BER) measurement
after Viterbi (FEC) as much for digital satellite (QPSK DVB-S) signals as for
digital terrestrial (COFDM DVB-T) ones. |

|  The PROLINK-3
Premium (B/W monitor) and the
PROLINK-3C Premium (LCD)
are instruments for the installation, verification and maintenance of TV and
data systems for Terrestrial, CATV and Satellite transmissions. Developed under
the OSD concept, any of the functions is described on the monitor showing the
available configuration parameters, at the same time, the buttons on the
keyboard, used to access a particular function are symbolised by means of
graphical icons. It takes direct readings for the evaluation of the quality of
the signals and incorporates different options for measuring Digital Signals. It
incorporates a Datalogger for the fast and easy acquisition of a great number of
data. Optionally a Li+ set of batteries can be installed that will provide more
than four hours of continuous operation in terrestrial band and more than two
hours powering a 5W LNB. A two and a half hours of charging time can be
performed from the mains or from the car lighter.

5" LCD/TFT incorporate functions to determine the quality of both analogue and digital
signals.
For analogue signals Level, Video/Audio, Carrier/Noise measurements are
available.
In the case of digital signals they measure Channel Power,
Carrier/Noise, Bit Error Rate (BER) with DVB Channel Identification as well as MPEG-2
decoding and wrong packet detection.
Optionally they can decode channels
encrypted with some conditional access systems via the common interface.
